Infrastructure project. That just sounds like exciting TV, doesn′t it? Well, don′t judge too quickly. Turkey′s Deriner Dam project is actually a hair-raising combination of towering mountains, rushing waters, and flying construction equipment. In the end it will provide Turkey with one percent of all its energy needs—as part of a hydroelectric system that will generate a full third. For now it makes for an exhilarating show.
