The Singapore Sky Park (aka The Marina Bay Sands) is one of the most exciting pieces of Architecture being built in Asia today. The enormous complex is designed by famed Architect Moshe Safdie and will represent the first ever casino/mega resort to be built in the country. The project consists of a casino, museum, theater, convention center, and an astonishing three 650-foot leaning hotel towers, which are connected (at the top not less) by the world′s first ever "sky park." The vertical urban oasis, perched atop the Singapore skyline, will have restaurants, a dance club, thousands of trees, and a shocking 1100-foot-long infinity pool that will let you, literally, swim right up to the edge. I really love this project for the design but also for the way in which it tries to reinterpret a Vegas-style resort through a Singaporean cultural lens. I hope you enjoy the project as much as I did.
